NOA Kicks Off New Campaign: Onions in the Raw

The National Onion Association has started a new blog dubbed, “Onions in the Raw” for the months of April, May and June. Timed to coincide with the spring and summer crop, the blog features a new recipe each month to showcase raw onions. For April, there is a recipe for grilled beef gyros with marinated onions.

In addition to a featured recipe, a dozen or so food bloggers will be selected for a monthly “Recipe Round-up” where NOA will spotlight one of their recipes using a whole onion (1-cup equivalent or more) in a seasonal dish.
