Jared Gutierrez is the new general manager at Columbia Basin Onion in Hermiston, Oregon. He replaces Gary Atkin, who retired in May. As general manager, Gutierrez will oversee all aspects of the business and will also work in sales for the company.
Gutierrez grew up in southeast Idaho on a small potato farm and later worked in sales and production in the potato industry. In 2009, he moved to Washington and began working in the frozen food industry on the field side as a harvest production manager. Most recently, he was employed as the director of operations at an onion produce facility in Washington, where he had been working since 2013.
