Let’s face it – like the stock market, onion prices are in the tank. Shipping point prices have either dropped or stayed the same the last couple weeks.
The only exception to this are medium yellows from Mexico, up 25 cents for a 50 lb. sack.
Last year at this time, whites were sold out except for those from Mexico. These 50 lb. sacks were worth at least $32 more than now. Yikes!
