Onion Shipping Point Prices For April 20, 2020
The ups and downs of the COVID-19 roller coaster is still making its mark on onion prices and most likely will for the foreseeable future.
Whites from Mexico crossings through South Texas are up $3 from last week and up a total of $5 from two weeks ago. Medium yellows from the same area are up $3 in a week, recovering some from a $7 drop two weeks earlier.
Vidalia onions started shipping April 16 and this first report of the season shows prices down $3 for Sweets and $2 for organics from 2019.
