The National Onion Association (NOA) has decided to cancel their summer convention this year.
After surveying members, the difficult decision was made to scrap 2020 and move the Nashville convention to July 14 – 17, 2021.
This move will push back the planned Utah summer convention to 2022.
“It’s always hard to cancel something like that,” said NOA President Doug Bulgrin. “I know a lot of people look forward to it. But the amount of money we would have had to outlay for the convention if we didn’t have the attendance would have put us in the hole.”
Assuming the world returns to some kind of normalcy in time to book flights, the NOA Annual Meeting is still scheduled for Nov. 30 – Dec. 5, 2020 in Bermuda at Fairmont Southampton.
