Onion Shipping Point Prices For June 29, 2020
Walla Walla Sweet onions have been shipping and demand is good. The high average price of $21 is exactly what it was at this time in 2019.
The Washington-grown onions entered the market at a “sweet” point, as prices have been on the rise. Vidalia Sweets are up another $1.50 from two weeks ago and are now $4.50 more than last year.
Southern New Mexico yellows climbed an average of $1.75 in the last week and all three varieties of onions in the San Joaquin Valley jumped $2.13 on average.
