The National Onion Association (NOA) has announced a virtual summer meeting, taking place Aug. 11.
Agenda:
- Opening comments by Greg Yielding, executive vice president NOA.
- Talk with officials about the recent events that enabled inspections of all Canadian onions coming across our borders.
- Stop the Rot project update.
- Promotions update by René Hardwick, director of public and industry relations.
- NOA Crop/Acreage report. Hear from growers around the country on the condition of the crop.
- Closing by President Doug Bulgrin

The association also has moved back the date of their fund-raising auction, presumably to coincide with the online meeting.
Bidding opens July 29 and ends Aug. 12. Auction donations will be accepted through July 17.
