The 2020 Michigan Onion Committee onion trials are at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 20. A steak cookout dinner follows at 7 p.m.

The trials are once again being managed by Darryl Warncke of Michigan State University.  This year the trials are mostly at V&W Farms (home of Bruce Klamer and location of the dinner).  There are also some red onions that are part of the trials at Eding Farms.

The trials are circled on this map, the third field west of Wilson Avenue.  The onion trials are in the north half of that field.  To get to the trials use the 3rd drive west of Wilson on 100th St.  This is a private drive so please respect the drive and do not park on it. Park on the grass strip just north of the field.  Take care if the ground is wet.

For those that cannot make it to the event, visitors are welcome to view the trials on their own.
