Onion Shipping Point Prices for February 8, 2021
Michigan has run out of onions and dropped off our report, but Mexico Crossings through South Texas are on for the first time this year and started shipping last week. The Mexican onions have already dropped some in price the last week.
In the Columbia Basin and Umatilla Basin whites have been stable the last couple weeks but up nicely from 2020.
Likewise, in Idaho and Malheur County, whites are up an average of $1.25 from a year ago.
In Central Wisconsin, it is yellows that are up from last year, an average of $2.81.
