Onion Shipping Point Prices for April 5, 2021

Shipping point prices have been fairly stable in the last week, but some prices in the PNW and Mexico Crossings through South Texas have dropped in the last two.

Medium yellows are down $2, and jumbo whites dropped $1.50 in the Columbia Basin and Umatilla Basin since March 22. All yellow sizes from Mexico are down $1.50 in the same timeframe.

The good news is most prices remain higher than last year. One year ago, a COVID-fueled buying panic (and the huge price increases that came with the panic) slowed down: https://onionworld.net/2020/04/07/panic-buying-slows-prices-tumble/
