Onion Shipping Point Prices for October 18, 2021
Onions started shipping from Western and Central New York last week and make our chart for the first time this season. Only mediums were available last year, but mediums and jumbos are on sale this year.
Medium New York reds in 50 lb. sacks are up $5 over 2020 and medium yellows debuted 50 cents down.
All onions in the Columbia Basin and Umatilla Basin, Oregon are up over last year and only yellow mediums are selling for less in Idaho and Malheur County, Oregon.
