Onion Shipping Point Prices for February 22, 2022
There was no report on the 21st because of Presidents’ Day, but it gives us a chance to make a once in a lifetime post on 2/22/22.
Onion prices have gone up in all shipping areas in the last week except in Wisconsin and New York. All varieties since Feb. 14 in Idaho and Malheur County are up except for medium yellows, which did not change.
Mexican reds and yellows were not available on our last report. Their debut here is predictably strong (given the current market), way higher than 2021.
