Onion Shipping Point Prices for April 3, 2023
The Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas shipping area is now shipping white and red onions after starting with yellows two weeks ago.
As expected given the current market, Texas whites are down $6.75 on average and reds are down $9.75 on average from 2022 at this time.
Generally, the market continues to slide lower, despite our hopes in February that the market had bottomed.
