Onion Shipping Point Prices for June 26, 2023
Walla Walla sweets from Washington are now available with only moderate demand. They were not available last year at this time. Comparing them to when they debuted in July 2022, jumbos are the same $25 price, and mediums are up $2 this year.
San Joaquin Valley, Calif. also starting shipping yellow and red onions last week. Yellows are up $1.75 on average, but reds are down $4.25 from last year. This year’s whites from the area are not yet ready.
Vidalia sweets have gone up a buck in the last week to $25.
