Onion Shipping Point Prices for Oct. 2, 2023
Central Wisconsin has started shipping onions for this season. 50-pound sacks of medium yellows are just 50 cents less than last year. The area is also shipping yellows in master containers that never made it to reports in 2022. For reference, Wisconsin was shipping containers in 2021, and today’s price is $2.59 more.
In the last week, prices in Idaho and Malheur County, Ore. dropped on all varieties, down 94 cents on average and colossal yellow prices in Columbia Basin, Wash. and Umatilla Basin, Ore. fell $3.
