Onion Shipping Point Prices For June 10, 2024
Imperial Valley, Calif. has run out of onions for the season, leaving just Southern New Mexico and Vidalia still shipping.
Now that Southern New Mexico has been shipping for a couple weeks and expanded to all three colors of onions, we’ve learned yellows are down an average of $4.63 from last year. Reds have generally been on a hot streak when available and these New Mexicans are no different – up $10.75 on average over 2023.
Vidalia Sweets are remarkably stable. They have been between $24 and $25 for two years, though they just dropped to $23.
