Onion Shipping Point Prices For June 24, 2024
Walla Walla sweets from Washington are now available. Colossal and jumbo sizes started shipping June 17 with good demand. They are about the same price as last year, $25.50 on average.
San Joaquin Valley, Calif. started shipping all three colors of onions also on June 17, but demand is light. Yellows are down $4.25 on average from last year. Reds, however, are $10.50 more than last year.
In Southern New Mexico, reds average $7.75 more than 2023, but yellows are down $5.50 on average.
