Onion Shipping Point Prices For August 5, 2024
The first onions from the Columbia Basin, Washington & Umatilla Basin, Oregon shipping area have shown up. Medium yellows are up $3.50 from last year and reds are up $4 from 2023.
In San Joaquin Valley, Calif., whites are up one buck in the last two weeks and yellows are up $1.50 on average over the same period.
Yellows are also up in Southern New Mexico since our last report, $1.25 on average.
