Onion Shipping Point Prices For December 9, 2024
The Talking Heads song “Once in a Lifetime” has a memorable hook which describes onion shipping point prices over the last month, “same as it ever was.”
Prices are exactly the same in the last two weeks except New York yellow mediums, which dropped 50 cents. All areas have moderate demand, except Central Wisconsin which has good demand.
Prices were generally really good last year, and only reds are higher this year. Let’s hope those yellow and white prices weren’t once in a lifetime.
