Onion Shipping Point Prices for April 13, 2026
Tighter supply has driven prices upward over the last couple weeks.
In Idaho and Malheur County, Oregon, and also Mexican onions crossing through Texas, there are three sizes of yellows left. In both shipping areas, yellow prices are up over $5 on average from our March 30 report.
There are not many whites on the market and prices reflect that. Prices of whites are up $10.25 on average in the last two weeks from the Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas shipping point.
The first shipping report for the year is out for Vidalia sweets. Price is about the same as last year, up 50 cents from our first report in 2025.
