Ecorobotix has rolled out a new model of its flagship ARA Ultra-High Precision Sprayer. This model, the ARA595, is designed for 80-inch beds with aboveground side sprinklers, commonly used in California and Arizona. The new model is slightly smaller than the ARA600 and ARA620 so that it fits between the sprinklers, and it has an arm that guides the sprinkler nozzles away from the machine as it passes.
The ARA595 features a working width of 19.7 feet and driving speed of up to 4.5 mph, covering up to 10 acres per hour. Through the use of AI, the sprayer differentiates crops from weeds and applies crop protection products and fertilizers only where needed, reducing input costs by up to 95%, according to the company.
