Onion Shipping Point Prices For June 15, 2020
Only three areas are on this week’s report, the same number as June 1. In California, San Joaquin Valley has replaced Imperial Valley. On our next bi-weekly report, Walla Walla Sweets should be showing up.
Vidalia Sweets and organics are up $1 and $1.5 in the last two weeks, and are $3 and $1.5 respectively above 2019 prices.
San Joaquin Valley has moderate demand, and moderate prices. The average price from last year is nearly $6 less this year. Southern New Mexico is averaging $5.44 less than last year.
