Onion Shipping Point Prices for August 10, 2020
Southern New Mexico has run out of onions, replaced on this report by Idaho and Malheur County, Oregon. Red prices are the same as last year at this time in the Treasure Valley, but yellows are down by an average of $3.75.
San Joaquin Valley, California and Columbia Basin reds are up over 2019 by as much as $1.50.
Peruvian onions shipped from the east coast are also showing up on this report for the first time this season, debuting at $24 for jumbo yellows.
