Onion Shipping Point Prices for September 9, 2020
Walla Walla Sweets have run out, but Michigan and Central Wisconsin have started to ship yellows.
The supply is light in Michigan, and prices are better than last year. Repacker-sized yellows are up $2.25 from 2019.
Central Wisconsin is also dealing with a fairly light supply. No pricing data was available from a year ago, but prices of 16 – 3 lb. mesh sacks of medium yellows are up $3 from late September of last year.
Most varieties are also slightly higher than last year in the Columbia Basin and Umatilla Basin shipping areas.
