Onion Shipping Point Prices for December 14, 2020
The last two weeks, onion prices have either remained steady or dropped. Prices are still largely outpacing 2019, however.
Idaho and Malheur onions are down an average of just 21 cents from two weeks ago and steadied in the last week.
Michigan dropped $1.25 on average since November 30, but is still an average of $2.50 ahead of last year’s pace.
For the first time this season, Peruvian imports packed on the east coast fell in price, down $1. They are $5.50 over the 2019 price.
