Onion Shipping Point Prices for June 14, 2021
Onions from San Joaquin Valley, Calif. and Walla Walla, Wash. started shipping last week and make our chart for the first time this week. Supplies in the Imperial Valley, Calif. and Columbia Basin, Wash. have run out.
Super colossal yellows, whites and reds are higher than last year in the San Joaquin Valley, averaging $1.10 over 2020.
No data exists from exactly one year ago for Walla Walla, but a look at the June 29, 2020 report shows jumbos and mediums down two dollars. There were no colossal Walla Wallas at anytime on the shipping reports last year.
