Onion Shipping Point Prices for September 20, 2021
Central Wisconsin has started to ship yellow onions with a average price $2.44 over 2020. Meanwhile, southern U.S. onions have run out in Vidalia and San Joaquin Valley, California.
In Idaho and Malheur County, Oregon, all onions have been on the rise over the last month except for yellow mediums. Even counting the disappointing yellows, the average price has increased $5.44 over last year and has gone up $3.25 on average since August 23.
Though not quite keeping pace with their neighbors to the south, Columbia Basin, Washington and Umatilla, Oregon colossal yellows are up $7.25 from last year.
