Onion Shipping Point Prices For October 28, 2024
The New York onion shipping point area is now delivering onions, but only medium yellows so far. They are at the exact price as last year at this time, $10.50 for 50 lb. sacks.
Vidalia has finally dropped off the shipping list, but it is at least a month later than a normal year. We’ve seen Vidalias run out as early as mid-July.
Almost all prices in the PNW and Idaho and Malheur County, Ore. are up over 2023.
