Onion Shipping Point Prices for March 3, 2025
New York has run out of onions but Mexico crossings through South Texas are taking up the slack. All three colors from Mexico are available now, about a month earlier than last year. We don’t have any data from last week or one year ago, but prices are way down from early April 2024, as expected.
A 25% tariff on Mexican imports is set to begin March 4, so it will be interesting to see what effect that has on these onions moving forward.
