Onion Shipping Point Prices for May 1, 2023
This is the first onion shipping report from Southern Calif. for the season. Last year at this time, all three colors were available, but only yellow onions are shipping now. Colossals are $17.50 for 50 pound sacks, the same price as last year. Jumbos are down $2 and mediums are $1.50 less than 2022.
Onions from Peru, Wisconsin, and Mexico have run out for the year.
