Onion Shipping Point Prices For Jan. 8, 2024
Onion shipping point prices are generally up or stable across all areas since our last report in 2023.
Only yellow mediums from New York have decreased in the last week, but jumbos from the area are up $2.50. These are the exact same prices we saw at this time last year.
Medium whites from the PNW are up $4.50 since January 2 and whites from the Treasure Valley are up $4.75 on average. Looking at these same white onion prices in 2023, the PNW price is up $22 and the Idaho and Malheur County, Oregon price is up $18.50 on average.
