Onion Shipping Point Prices For April 15, 2024
Yellow onion shipping point prices in the PNW and Treasure Valley have been on a downward trend since our last report, but low-supply reds have been going up.
Since April 1, Columbia Basin, Wash. and Umatilla Basin, Oregon yellows are down $3.50 on average, but reds from the area are up $2. In Idaho and Malheur County, Oregon, yellows dropped $2.50 on average, but reds are up $5 on average.
The lone bright spot for yellows are Mexican super colossals crossing through South Texas, up $1.5 in the last week.
