Onion Shipping Point Prices for April 28, 2025
The annual big shake-up in our onion shipping point report has hit this week, as areas have run out of product but others have started harvesting.
The first onions are shipping from Imperial Valley, Calif. this week, just as Idaho & Malheur County, Oregon, Mexico Crossings Through South Texas and Peruvians shipped from the East Coast have run out.
Vidalia, Georgia started shipping April 15, so they missed out on our April 14 report. The Vidalias are going out at $3 less than last year and the Californians average more than $11 less over both colors.
