NOA Sets Agenda for 2025 Summer Convention

The National Onion Association (NOA) has announced a preliminary agenda for its Summer Convention in Tri-Cites, Wash. on July 9-11.

Agenda (subject to change):

Wednesday, July 9 — 

  • Golf outing, (details to come; reach out to Anthony Molitor to indicate your interest in participating: 208-501-4045; anthonym@ivi.us.com)
  • Opening Reception

Thursday, July 10 — Spouse /Friend Event: Wine Tasting/Glass Art at the Barnard Griffin Winery. You may choose one or the other. Transportation provided.

General Session speakers:

  • FDA representatives
  • Dr. Stuart Reitz, Oregon State University, an overview of what is known and not known about the recent outbreaks associated with onions.
  • David Magaña, Rabo AgriFinance, Global fruit and vegetable marketplace analyst

4:30-6:30 p.m.: Washington Potato & Onion Association Reception (at Perch Cantina)

Friday, July 11 — Ag Tour:

  • Columbia Basin Onion
  • Agrinorthwest fields / Ecorobotix demonstration
  • Carbon Robotics Manufacturing Facility (Lunch and tours)

Evening: Banquet Dinner and Live Auction with Austin Booker
